Founder & Managing Attorney
Jean Paul is a licensed Florida attorney and the founder of Shield Title & Escrow, an attorney-led title company focused on delivering clear communication, proactive oversight, and a structured and proactive closing experience from start to finish.
Before founding Shield Title & Escrow, Jean Paul served as in-house counsel for insurance companies and worked at established South Florida law firms handling general liability and commercial litigation matters. He is also the founder and managing attorney of Shield Legal Group, where he oversees litigation and legal advisory matters throughout Florida. That background provides a unique perspective in title work, with a strong understanding of risk analysis, issue prevention, and file oversight.
Jean Paul founded Shield Title & Escrow after seeing how often buyers, sellers, Realtors, and investors were left frustrated by poor communication and lack of guidance during real estate transactions. He built the company around a simple principle: every closing deserves responsiveness, transparency, and direct attorney oversight.
Admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Fluent in English and Spanish.
